In December 1992, I started bringing out an annual series of Dunkiton pamphlets on Oz-related topics, reprints of interesting rare items by Ruth Plumly Thompson, John R. Neill, W. W. Denslow, and others old enough to be in the public domain (with the occasional essay on related topics by me). These cost $2.50 each or $6.00 for three.

Dunkiton #1 (1992), "Some Thompson Sidelights": reprint of RPT's four-part adventure of her Perhappsy Chaps with Santa Claus, including the illustrations by Arthur Henderson, from the Philadelphia Public Ledger; and notes on aspects of RPT's work on the Ledger that didn't get included in my Bugle essay on her work for the paper.

Dunkiton #2 (1993), "Gnome Matters": essay of mine on the history of non-Oz gnomes and round-up of letters by Oz fans on Return to Oz, with illustrations of gnomes by several artists, including a Denslow gnome from The Jewelled Toad.

Dunkiton #3 (1994): "Mermaids": essay of mine on Oz mermaids and reprint of mermaid stories by Thompson and Walt McDougall (the illustrator of Baum's "Queer Visitors from the Marvelous Land of Oz" comic page), with illustrations by MacDougall, Denslow, and Neill.

Dunkiton #4 (1995), "Robin Hood I": reprint of half of "The Real Robin Hood," an anonymous Public Ledger story illustrated by Neill, and one of RPT's two "Young Robin Hood" tales.

Dunkiton #5 (1996), "Robin Hood II": the rest of "The Real Robin Hood," and "Young Robin Hood."

Dunkiton #6 (1997), "Ads": reprint of Denslow's previously unknown drawings for a Memorial Day ad in the Chicago Daily News, and of RPT's Charms Candy ad poems from the Ledger.

Dunkiton #7 (1998): "Princess of Cozytown I": reprint of title story from RPT's collection of short stories (but including the paragraphs from the newspaper version omitted apparently only for reasons of page lay-out), with the Ledger illustrations by Arthur Henderson. New Year drawing by Frederick Richardson (illustrator of Baum's Queen Zixi of Ix).

Dunkiton #8 (1999): "Princess of Cozytown II": reprint of "The Prince with a Cold in His Heart" and "The Bald-Headed Kingdom" from The Princess of Cozytown (including omitted sections from the newspaper). New Year drawing by Richardson.

Dunkiton #9 (2000): "Princess of Cozytown III": reprint of "The Tailor of Nevermindwhere" from The Princess of Cozytown (including omitted sections). New Year drawing by Richardson.

Dunkiton #10 (2001): "Princess of Cozytown IV": reprint of "The Last Giant" from The Princess of Cozytown (including omitted sections), and 3 short Giants from the Ledger. New Year drawing by Richardson.

Dunkiton #11 (2002): "Princess of Cozytown V": reprint of "The Princess Who Could Not Dance," the final Cozytown story, plus remaining pair of Denslow's Daily News Memorial Day illos and a Neill poem/illo from American Magazine.

Dunkiton #12 (2003): "Spring": reprint of Denslow's previously unknown drawings for an Easter Day ad in the Chicago Daily News and of two springtime playlets by RPT from the Ledger.

Dunkiton #13 (2004): "Fourth of July": reprint of Denslow's previously unknown drawings for a Fourth of July ad in the Chicago Daily News, two holiday playlets by RPT from the Ledger, and five of RPT's holiday poems.

Dunkiton #14 (2005): "Summer on the Water": reprints more of Denslow's previously unknown advertising drawings from the Chicago Daily News, and stories by RPT about holidays at the beach.

Dunkiton #15 (2006): "Halloween": reprints previously unknown art by Denslow and Neill, and stories, poems, and playlets by Ruth Plumly Thompson.

Dunkiton #16 (2007): "Thanksgiving I": reprints previously unknown art by Denslow, and Thanksgiving-themed poems and a story by Ruth Plumly Thompson.

Dunkiton #17 (2008): "Yuletide": reprints "The Christmas That Was Nearly Missed" by Paul West (a friend and collaborator of W. W. Denslow), with illustrations by Denslow.

Dunkiton #18 (2009): "Thankgiving II": reprints Thanksgiving-themed stories and poems by Ruth Plumly Thompson, and previously unknown illustrations by John R. Neill.

Dunkiton #19 (2010): "Valentine's Day I": reprints Valentine's Day-themed stories and poems by Ruth Plumly Thompson, and illustrations by John R. Neill.

Dunkiton #20 (2011): "Valentine's Day II": more Valentine's Day-themed stories and poems by Ruth Plumly Thompson, and more illustrations by John R. Neill.

Dunkiton #21 (2012): "The Perhappsy Chaps #1": The first of a series of reprints of poems by Ruth Plumly Thompson, later published in the collection The Perhappsy Chaps. These versions look at the differences between their newspaper and book versions, and include the original newspaper illustrations.

Dunkiton #22 (2013): "The Perhappsy Chaps #2": The continuation of the Thompson stories.
