November 26, 2025: Wicked movie, Part 2, cinemas worldwide. The musical adaptation of Gregory Maguire's novel about the witches of Oz is proving to be too much story for just one movie, so it's been split into two! The second half is coming out for the 2025 holiday season. Keep an eye out for further announcements, including an exact date.

Toto movie premiere, North American (at least) theaters

Toto movie premiere, theaters throughout North America (and possibly other parts of the world). The animated movie, based on the book Toto: The Dog-Gone Amazing Story of the Wizard of Oz by Michael Morpurgo and Emma Chichester Clark, tells the story of The Wizard of Oz from Toto's perspective. It was originally scheduled for a February 2024 release, but it was removed from the schedule with no new date announced yet.
